Ctrl C Error

S

Simon Murphy

Sounds like someone wrote/recorded some code and connected
it to the crtl C short cut.
try:
Set Macro security to high or medium
close Excel
re open
Disable macros whenever you are asked (dont open stuff if
you can't disable it)
If the problem has gone away then its Macros or code

If that didn't fix it then it may be outside of Excel

cheers
Simon

My CTRL C function for copy will be working fine for a
while and then all of a sudden will start doing strange
functions. It will delete cell contents, delete columns,
and move the cursor to another location. I can't figure
out any rhyme or reason for this. In addition, the undo
function is not available after this happens, I just lose
my data. Has anyone had this problem? Perhaps it is an
operating system and not an Excel problem but Excel is the
only place I've had it happen. I use Excel about 95% of
my day so I might not know if it happens in other products.
