CTRL+D Minimizing not Duplicating?

Hi,

I have a user who is working with Visio 2003. Up 'till today he says he's
always used "CTRL+D" in Visio to duplicate an object. However, for some
reason today, whenever he hits "CTRL+D", his app window minimizes instead.
He says nothing has changed on the system. What could be causing this change
in hotkey behaviour?

Many thanks

Ben

Hi Ben,

That's quite odd.

Does still it happen after he reboots? Does he have any thing like "Scroll
Lock" accidentally set?

Only other thing I can think of is certain features for disability and
laptops that make it so a user doesn't have to hold two keys at once - ie:
you enter a "Ctrl mode" or an "Alt mode", but I haven't messed with these in
a long time.

Good luck with a strange one!

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the reply.

I have had the user reboot his machine, and test CTRL+D with and without
scroll on, but neither made any difference, the hotkey still minimizes his
apps. I will double check his disability settings, but I don't think he has
any enabled.

Cheers

Ben
