Hi,
We have developed a Word template in VSTO which consists of multiple
sections (section breaks) and where each section's header and footer
is not linked to the previous one. Some sections contain (or contain a
combination of) paragraph text, images, and tables. Each area in a
section has a corresponding help/instruction text which is displayed
in the Document Actions pane when the cursor enters the area. More so,
the end of the document (2 or more pages - depending on the amount of
data entered in the actions pane) contains data in a complex table-
structure (merged cells and/or rows) and whose font is set to
"Hidden".
The issue is that when the user presses the CTRL+END shortcut, the
cursor doesn't move to the end of the document. Disabling the event
handlers for the areas doesn't have any positive effect either.
The shortcut would only work if the hidden text is shown (enabling
either the Hidden Text or All option for the Formatting Marks). But
the weird part is that the shortcut works perfectly in a new document
that we created (NOT based from the template) which also has some
hidden text and tables at the end.
Does anyone have any idea on what's causing the problem? Any
workarounds or suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
