Ctrl-F6 not working

I just uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2003. Before, when I had multiple
Word and Excel files open, I could move between them swiftly withing that
program only using Ctrl-F6. But now, Ctrl-F6 is not working. All I can do
is use Alt-Tab, which is more time-consuming, as I must move between
EVERYTHING in all programs open. How do I get Ctrl-F6 to work in Office
again?

You could try Help, Detect and Repair. But I wonder if you have
installed some 3rd party software that is intercepting the the CTRL+F6
so that Office is not receiving it?

Is it possible you have some other program installed which has globally
"hijacked" the Ctrl+F6 key combination? My soft phone app sets a global hook
for Ctrl+Shift+A (which doesn't even work!!) and therefore I can't use this
combination in any other program, so I can't, for example, create a new
appointment in Outlook without the mouse or "going the long way" with the
keyboard.

A good way to test this would be to open another program which uses the MDI
interface and see if you can use Ctrl+F6 to move through its windows, since
it should be automatically provide by any MDI app. Unfortunately I can't
think of any MDI apps that come pre-installed with Windows off the top of my
head, and I don't know what you may have on your machine.
