Ctrl+S does not save if crash occurs

Hi, I have a driver problem that crashes my PC intermittently. I have auto
recover set to 1 minute but recently this has not saved documents. I just
made a change and saved by ctrl+S then hit restart on the PC and it did not
save my changes.

Any ideas why my saves are not being recognised when the PC crashes?

No, no idea, other than that Word isn't operating normally. Solve the
crashes, and the function will probably return.
