I recently installed Encarta on my laptop, and assigned the Encarta taskbar
the easy-to-remember shortcut of Ctrl+Shft+e (originally I absentmindedly
used Win+e as my shortcut, but you know why that didn't work; Shft+e was my
next unsuccessful attempt). Ctrl+shft+e seemed to work for a few days, but
then I realized that when I was in Word, it wouldn't. I couldn't find any
document online that had this keyboard shortcut, but a search result with an
expired page said that "CTRL+SHFT+E, Turn revision marks on or off." As I
said the page itself has been taken offline but the result preview said that
this is an editing shortcut.
I'm not sure what do to or how to change this shortcut--I'd really like
Ctrl+Shft+e for Encarta. How can I remove this key from Word? I went into
the Word Options/Custom/Keyboard shortcuts: customize button, but didn't see
how to find and then remove this keyboard.
Any suggestions?
