Cube leaving out a project

David

Project suddenly stopped putting a project in the cube. All other projects
export to the cube fine just the one doesn't get exported. Does anyone have
any ideas if there is an option somewhere in a project to have it excluded
from the cube and if so where it is so I can turn it off? The project does
have time associated with it and it shows up fine in Project Professional
2003 and Project Web Access. Everything looks ok it is just not getting
included in the cube.

Thanks

Way too little information to give you a definitive answer. What SP and
hotfix level are you at? Does this project publish normally to all views? Is
the PM getting any errors when working with the plan? Do you have errors in
server application event log related to this project or the cube build?

We are running 2003 SP1. The project publishes normally and there are no
errors in the plan. I have not been able to check the event log yet. We have
saved the project locally and deleted the project from the server then
republished the project from the local file with a different name and then
republished all the actuals and it still doesn't show up in the cube (We used
this method once before on another project). This leads me to believe that it
is something in the plan itself.

Are you using any Enterprise Cost fields? If so, do any of these have values
in excess of $24 million?

Without being able to examine the database, it's difficult to say what's
going wrong. Your original strategy of saving out the plan is still the best
bet. If the plan is not too large, you might try doing this: Save as XML,
and then follow the instructions in our FAQs at projectserverexperts.com to
rebuild the binary blob after you reimport it. If this extended therapy
process does not make a difference, then I suggest that you obtain the
latest hotfix package from Microsoft. Beyond that you could consider
reconstructing the plan or hiring a troubleshooter.
