Jean,

The Nth root of any number is that number raised to the 1/N
power. So for cube roots, use something like

=A1^(1/3)

The nth root of a number is just the number raised to the power of
1/n:

3rd: = A1^(1/3)

4th = A1^(1/4) or =A1^0.25

10th =A1^(1/10) or =A1^0.1

Use the power character ( ^ ) or the POWER function with
a power of 1/3, 1/4, 1/5 etc.

Cube Root of X: =(x)^(1/3)
Fourth Root of X: =(x)^(1/4)
