I am trying to create an office layout using Visio Professional 2003. We're
using cubicle panels of particular lengths (3ft, 4ft, and 5ft) and of varying
heights (3ft, 4ft, 5ft, 6ft). What I want to create are 12 shapes, one for
each possible panel. The problem I'm having is getting them to behave like
cubicle panels. I want them to:
* have a fixed length
* freely rotate
* connect at whatever angle I choose
The "Panel" shape in the Cubicles stencil doesn't do what I want because
it's not a fixed length.
I can create 2d shapes based on the "Panel" that are fixed in length and
freely rotate, but when I try to connect pieces at right angles they snap
into a straight line.
Can someone provide me with some advice on how to create the shapes I need?
