Hello-

I am running Entourage 2004 on my MacBook running Leopard and am encountering the issue where the font used for notifications is the highly unreadable Curlz MT by default. I have tried disabling this font in Font Book, but unfortunately this causes an initialization error when launching Photoshop, an issue which I have seen reported by other users in forums on the internet who are also seeking to have readable notifications. Are there any other solutions to this issue, or am I stuck with Curlz MT? Thank you.

Use Font Book. You can find it in your Applications folder. Open the
application, scroll down to Curlz MT, then choose Edit>Disable "Curlz MT"
family. Restart your computer to force it to rebuild its font caches, and
see if the problem has gone.

You might want to do a Safe Boot for even further cleaning.

Thank you for your prompt reply, Diane. With your help I think I found a solution!
I tried the Safe Boot you suggested after removing the Curlz MT font from the computer manually (not through Font Book), it seems now that Entourage notifications are displayed correctly and that Photoshop is able to open without any errors, at least so far. Thanks for your help.
