I am using Excel 2003 sp3. If I have 2 cells with numbers in them (say 4818
for both cells) and change the formatting of the first cell to currency and
use US $ the format is correct ($4,818.00). If I change the formatting of
the second cell to currency and use Php English (Philippines) the format of
that cell is correct (Php4,818.00), however, the formatting of the first cell
that was in US dollars is automatically changed to $ph4,818.00. In fact all
cells formatted in US dollars are automatically changed. If you completely
close down Excel and reopen that workbook the US dollars cells will be
formatted correctly ($).
