Currency number formatting

Hi,

I have an excel spreadsheet, which is created by end-users.

For the currency field, they use the formatting of ?1.234,10, which is the
Dutch format.
It is saved as XML file in Excel. If I look at that XML file, the formatter
shows as #,##0.00_-

If that XML files is loaded in the OWC 11 spreadsheet, with a number of
151000,00 (comma) then it shows as ? 15.100.000,00 which should be
?151.000,00. If I change that in 151000.00, then it shows up correctly.

Maybe someone knows how to change this behavouir to the correct one?

Greetings,

Danny Sterke

Have you tried playing the regional setting? By the way, the Excel client is
notably poor at localization so you should *expect those issues to pop up. I
know that is terrible to hear but it's true none-the-less.

Alvin,

Thanks for the responds.

I guess it's more an Excel thing, because saving a worksheet as xml doesn't
save the formatting the right way, then a OWC thing.

I will try to figure out a work around.

BTW great book, very helpfull!
