Current date field name

Hi!

We would like to create a field so our Project Managers can easily see what
was supposed to start prior to today. I can't figure out what the "name" for
today's date would be.

Is this close to being right?

IIf([% Complete]=100,"Complete",IIf([start]<today,"Late", "Not Late"))

the name of today's date is 'now()'. Hope that helps!
