Current Date

I have a fax template (.dot) where I want the current date
to automatically appear. I right clicked on the date,
selected toggle field codes and wrote TIME\@"MMMM d,
YYYY", but I can't get the date to populate.
Appreciate your suggestions. Using Word 2000/Windows
Professional 2000.

{CREATEDATE \@ "MMMM d, yyyy"}
then toggle the display back again before saving the template.
