We are using Project Server 2003 with sp3.
I would like to know the criteria based on which the tasks gets displayed
into the timesheet. As per MS documentation the tasks which are currently In
Progress (i.e. the tasks on which you have reported time and are not
closed), as well as tasks that are scheduled to start within 10 days from the
current date gets displayed into the timesheet.
There have been cases in when the scheduled tasks did not appear at all on
the users timesheet and due to which they could not complete the tasks. This
is a serious issue as users look into their timesheet to see what they are
supposed to be working on a particular day / week. However, these tasks are
available in 'All Tasks' view but this is a very lengthy tasks list so users
prefer 'Current Tasks' view.
Please share your suggestions or thoughts on the same. Thanks!
