Current time/date macro?

Is there a way I can create a macro to put into a command button that will
insert a current time or date into the corresponding field?

Why not just set the field default to =Now()

Karl's suggestion is an excellent one, if you aretalking about a new record.

Otherwise you can use the built-in keyboard shortcuts:
Ctrl+; for currect date
Ctrl+: for current time
