CurrentDB error

Please help. After a problem with my PC I had to re-
install office and now the CurrentDB functionality causes
the following error:
"Function or interface rstricted, or the function uses an
automation type not supported in Visual Basic"

I have never encountered this problem before. How can I
resolve the issue and use the CurrrentDB functionality
again?
