Cursor changes

From time to time when working in Word 2002 I accidently hit a set of keys
and my insertion point cursor turns into the "Mac" four-leaf clover. What
keys am I hitting to make that happen? Is there an easy way to reset the
cursor when this happens?

To reset the cursor, press the Esc key.

Alt Ctrl Num+ , although I don't know how you could hit that combination
accidentally, because I can barely do it on purpose.

Note also that this is the 'destructive' cursor in that any menu item you
select while it is displayed will be deleted.

Fortunately for Zorcon, no, the cloverleaf (Ctrl+Alt+NumPlus) is the
"assign this item to a keyboard shortcut" cursor (the
ToolsCustomizeKeyboardShortcut command). When this cursor is active,
clicking a menu item or toolbar button or pressing an existing
shortcut will open the Customize Keyboard dialog with the
corresponding command highlighted.

The destructive cursor is Ctrl+Alt+minus
