Cursor Control

Is there any way to keep the cursor from changing when it
moves over a text box. I would like to keep it as a
pointer.

I don't believe so. Cursor's are generally built-in to the program you are
using and how they change are based on event. About the only thing you can
do is change the set of cursor's that are used, which is governed by your
OS. For instance, sometimes I use the dinosaur set.
