Cursor duplicate in Word while scrolling

I have the following problem: in Word the cursor sometimes replicates itself
while scrolling. This means that during scrolling I see two cursors one that
is "left behind" and one actual cursor (when I use PgUp or PgDn or sidebar
the "left behind" cursor disappears). I already re-installed Word and in
other applications it does not appear to be a problem (but I must say that I
use Word the most, with big documents).

Any ideas to solve the problem?

BTW Word is installed on a toshiba notebook A100-159

On a spin-off subject. My notebook is also the A100. Great machine (and I'm
using Word 2000 on it) But what is 159?

IMO: 159 is the same thing as PSAA9E. As far as I know this implicates the
processor speed T2500 Dual core.
