cursor jumps left while typing text

Does anyone know how to eliminate this problem? Sometimes
while typing a Word document (taking notes in class,
usually) I find the cursor jumps six or seven words to the
left instead of advancing. I end up with a mess. Have I
pressed some keystroke that makes this happen? If so, it
would be my right hand on the lower two rows of the
keyboard, becasue that is when I notice it. thanks for
whatever help you can give me. I am perplexed!!! --Deena

Do you have Speech Recognition enabled? Could you be pressing any of the
arrow keys?
