cursor moving

when I am typing an email message, I am somehow hitting some unknown
keystroke that moves the cursor and performs commands.... primarily moving to
a different place on the page/in the email or sometimes inserts something
that happens to be on my clipboard. I cannot figure out what combination of
keystrokes I am using to make this happen (it just happened as I was typing
this.....

If it happened when you were typing this, and you're posting using a web
browser, then it isn't an Outlook issue. I'd wager you either have a programmable
keyboard and put in a macro, or you have a macro type of software in the OS.

Or you just happen to actually be hitting control and doing things like control
- c and other things (or shift-insert).

I've done this on a laptop by accidentally tapping the touch pad with my
thumb as I typed.
