cursor over hyperlink

My "Autoformat as you type" options are checked to recognize a web link.
When I type a www address it automatically underlines it. However, when I
place my cursor over the link it does not change to the shape of a hand
where I can just click like I used to before. I have to right-click and then
click "Open hyperlink". I use Word 2002 in the XP suite and Win98SE. Do I
need to reinstall Word, or is there some setting I need to change?

You have to Control+Click to open the hyperlink or change the option under
Tools, Options, Edit tab.

Thanks Terry, that was it. I unchecked the "Use Ctrl + click" option and now
when I hover my mouse over the link it turns into a hand.
