Cursor pauses every few seconds

As I am typing in MSWord, my cursor pauses [hourglass] every few seconds --
quite annoying. Any idea why?

You apparently have something running resident in the background that
is sucking up your memory...so that Word has to wait for a free moment
in order to type what you've keyed in.

Go to your task manager and investigate.

Note, this TechTrax article is on spyware (which could be the cause),
but it also explains how to use the task manager to discover what's
going on in your system.

Good luck...
