Cursor position and page tidiness

Hi,

How do I get the cursor to position itself at the top of a page when I am
finished editing? Simple hey? Read on...

Let's say you create a nice tidy page and you pop in a picture down the
bottom.

If you leave that page then come back to it, the cursor will still be
highlighting the picture you just placed in and the page positioned so you
can see it (i.e., scrolled down). Ok - can understand this...afterall you
may want to put some more stuff on bottom of the page

Now...let's say I position the picture down the bottom, then I place the
cursor at the extreme top of the page - go to another page - then
return...and hey, the page is scrolled all the way down again and the picture
you just placed is still highlighted...the cursor is no longer at the top /
start of the page where I left it

What am I trying to do? I like things neat - I do not want the page to
automatically scroll down to where I left it yesterday - when I start my
onenote, I want it to start at the top of each page - all nice and neat.
Yes, once I have started a page, I do also want it to remain where I left
it...but...I just want it to 'start' at the top

Any ideas?

Thankyou sincerely,

This is extremely irritating for me too as I am studying from my notes. My
school has gone paperless and all notes are imported using the "Send to
OneNote" function. When I study I often find myself going back to earlier
lectures (on seperate pages) to compare or connect ideas but it is extremely
frustrating when the page I was just at 5 minutes ago is now scrolled back to
where it was yesterday, despite the fact i have viewed it today, moved the
scroll bar and/or cursor next to the section of the page I want to compare
and clicked on the next page. VERY VERY frustrating and counter productive.
This is a must fix nussiance.

ON always remembers the position where the cursor was when a page was
saved the last time. So the pages are opened in this stage when
re-visited.

A workaround would be to just add a blank at the position where you'd
want the cursor to be when re-opening a page.
