Maybe this is not the correct ng for this issue but I really did not who
else to ask and I'm at my wits end. I though people here type a lot and
might be able to help me. More often that I want, if I am typing a document
or an email in OE6 or designing with desktop publishing software the cursor
will drift away and after I think everything I've typed is on my screen, I
find nothing is really there ( I have been looking at the keyboard since I
am not a good typist ). I end up very frustrated and having to bring it back
with the mouse. Some times my text places it self in a different location
than where I thought I was typing. I called tech support at Dell (Dimension
8200) and they were not very patient and quickly dismissed me saying it must
be the keyboard. They sent me a new one, when I knew that was not the
problem, and of course the problem remained. I have gone to Mouse in Control
Panel and adjusted settings to test out different configurations but to no
avail. Any ideas or suggestions, please? Thanks. Josie
