Is there a way to write a simple macro to broaden the
blinking in-text cursor (not the mouse I bar, the blinking
cursor) to make it thicker and easier to see?

Also, on my earlier questions about screen up and screen
down (which are very erratic in my print-layout view), is
it possible to write a macro that will use a shortcut key
to move up and down one exact screen?

thanks, Joe

Unfortunately, no. It's just something you have to get used to.

I liked an older Word processor from the 1980s, Syntex, in which the
cursor was a solid, translucent block, not blinking. Of course, that
would work only with fixed width font such as Courier. But it was
better than that thin blinking line.
