cursor's color or style

my cursor's color in Word '95 is too light and hard to see
especially in a sunny weather. Can you show me how to
make it darker?? Also if it can be change into a bar sharp
instead of line that would be great.

I've never been a proponent of it, but try this:

Open Word, click "Tools", "Options". Click the "General" TAB and check the
"Blue background with white text" option and see if that works for you. I
don't know of a way to change your cursor color with any setting.
