custimized tags dont retain custommization

Running OneNote 2007
when I customze a tag (such as changing the "Discuss with Person A" to
"Discus with Bubba" -- the change doesnt seem to stay permenantly. It
seems I have to recustomize each time i restart or shortly thereafter.

Yes, I just noticed the same thing. I'm in the mood to customise onenote
more and without global page tags I thought I would start using the inbuilt
tags for specific items. I added tags for accomodation, food, attractions,
warning, good advice (I'm making a personal travel guide).

They have all disappeared now and gone back to default, which makes tags
useless. They should be embedded somehow so that even when you move your
notes to a different PC your modified tags go with you. Of course, more
varied icons or even the ability to import custom pictures and icons would be
better.

BTW I've never discussed anything with Bubba, it's always been a one way
nag-fest.

It finally stuck but I"m not sure how or when it happened.
its been "customized" for almost a week

I have experienced this as well, I have had my customizations keep for
multiple days, even weeks. I currently have my notebooks stored on a network
drive, I work on a laptop and connnect/disconnect from the network
constantly. Sometimes, my customizations just seem to disappear.
