Custom Appointment Times

Sherri

Is there a way of customizing the calendar in Outlook to
set an appointment that starts at the quarter hour rather
than only on the half hour (5:45 vs 5:30 or 6:00)?

Also, can I customize the duration of appointments to
accept other time increments (10-15 minutes vs. 30
minutes)?

The appointment can start at any time you like. Just open the appointment
item and type whatever time you wish in the Start Time field. You can also
type a specific time in the End Time field.

The duration will automatically account for whatever start/end times you
specify.

Open your Calendar
Right Click on the main calendar part
Select OTHER SETTINGS... from the menu
Set your TIME SCALE to 15 MINUTES
Click OK.

Now when you are viewing your calendar
on a ONE DAY VIEW it will show it in
15 minute increments. When you click to
make an appointment it will default to a
15 minute time scaled appointment.
