Hi,
I've set up a custom arrangement (called 'Thread'), for arranging posts &
related replies when viewing newsgroups. The sorting is as follows :
Custom arrangement name: Thread
Group items by: Conversation
Sort groups by: Conversation A on top
Sort items within groups by: Conversation Index Newest on top
Default display for groups: Expanded
This is an exact copy of the 'Edit Custom Arrangements' window for the
arrangement.
It works fine, but my *own* posts, once marked as read (the default 3
seconds thing) drop to the bottom of the sorting, irrespective of posting
date ??
So, all posts in a thread remain in perfect date order, apart from my own,
which collect at the bottom? Can anyone shed some light on this, or maybe
someone could advise on a better way of viewing threads (alpha sorted by
conversation & then sorted in date order, newest on top).
Any help greatly appreciated.
