Custom background images

Background images are generally developed in an external image editing
application like PhotoShop. Size to 1024x768 at 96 dpi. Add anything desired
and save as a .jpg (level 9 compression works well). In your presentation go
to FORMAT >> BACKGROUND >> from the drop down menu choose FILL EFFECTS >>
PICTURE tab >> SELECT PICTURE. You can also do this on your master slide so
background applies to all slides.

Can you design them in publisher or any other software that you can save as a
..jpg?
