Hi,
Is there any way that an enterprise resource's calendar can be
customised per project?
The situation we have is that a PM may be told he has a resource
assigned to his project from Monday to Wednesday, say. On Thursday/
Friday the resource is assigned to another project. The PM would like
to be able to mark Thursday/Friday as non-working time for his
project, so that Project doesn't schedule any work on those days.
Similarly, the other project's PM would mark the resource as non-
working on Monday to Wednesday. The resource's calendar at the
enterprise level would still show him as working Monday to Friday.
I have tried using Availability for this purpose, but that only shows
the resource as overallocated, i.e. it doesn't make Project schedule
around the unavailable days. That means more work for the PM to fix
up the overallocation.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.
