Custom Color Theme Changed/Saved - how to undo change?

Nancy

Hi. I am using FrontPage 2002.
I was in FrontPage, editting a website source that is on a shared drive on
our work computers, when I made a mistake and changed the CUSTOM colour on my
theme and saved it.
A warning message "Applying a theme to a web will permanently replace
formatting information. Individually themed page will not be modified. Do you
want to apply the theme?" - I said YES instead of NO.....
Now whenever I go to FrontPage on my computer and open my website source,
the custom colour is the changed version. Is there any way to restore my
original custom colour?
If I use my co-worker's computer, go to FrontPage and open the same website
source on our shared drive, the custom colour there is the original custom
color.
Thanks for your time!!

Modify the Theme again to use your Custom color.

If it was a std theme reapply the std theme
If it was a custom theme reapply the theme w/ the old name
- when you saved as new theme the old theme was not removed

PS
When you create a custom theme FP saves it on your PC in the folder
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Themes
(enter the above in Windows Explorer address bar)
- you should see your old theme name there unless you overwrote it
Or on your co-workers folder and copy the themename folder to a diskette and paste it in the same folder on your PC (the reopen FP
and reapply that themename)

Stefan/Jens:
Thanks, but it did not work...or I'm doing it wrong...or I'm not explaining
it in the proper terms.

I copied my co-worker's _theme folder (I couldn't find a "themename" folder)
and paste it over my _theme folder in the website source, then went to
FrontPage and reapplied the theme...but the colours in the text area of my
page (the page headers, borders, and link bars colours are OK) are still the
new colors that I mistakenly saved.

Yesterday when I wrecked the colour, I went to FORMAT ==> THEMES ==>
selected my custom theme ==> Modify ==> Colours. It is here in the colours
that I changed the Custom colour scheme. The colours of the link bars and
menu bars are still the original colour scheme and have never changed. It is
just the area where I type text on my web page that has the wrong color
scheme.

When I go to my website source directly (eg. not in throug frontpage), the
pages look fine. The colour scheme of the page's text are still my original
colour.

Confused?? I am. Any further help would be appreciated.

1) themename is whatever your theme is named
2) I told you to copy it to your custom theme folder at
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Themes
(not w/i your FP web)
