custom colors in Visio icons

I am having a problem while editing a master icon. The default color
palette has too few colors in it and I cant seem to find any way of
adding custom colors to it.

Yes, Visio icons only support 16 colors. It's one of the few areas of the
product that hasn't changed since version 1.0.
