Custom Command Bar Question

Hi All,

I have 2 custom command bars in my database that facilite the quick
and easy entry/change of utility functions and generating reports.
However, I'd need to limit access to some of this, based on which user
it is. The utility functions and reports I don't want everyone to be
able to run either can or can't be run currently based on a user
"level" that's picked off the user file when they sign into the
database. Howeer, the buttons are normal..they're visible and
"enabled"...but just don't work based on this level. I find this a
bit tacky.

Is it possible to enable/unenable (so, normal color or greyed out) or
to even make certain buttons on the custom command bars not visible,
based on a criteria I give it? Lacking that, is it possible to show
different custom command bars to the users perhaps...again, based on
this level thing (a number from 1-5)?

Or, have I already used the only available method of limiting where my
users can go, tacky tho it may be? I just kinda hate to have people
think they're not getting everything possible, which is what happens
when they click on a button that's sitting there and yet it doesn't do
anything at all
