Custom Date Formats

MS Access and MS Word 97

I have an access database that serves as a data source for
Word merge documents. I cannot get the dates to be merged
into Word in a mmmm dd, yyyy (January 01, 2003) format.
Can anyone help me?

Hi Sue,

In the mailmerge main document, press Alt+F9 to toggle on the field codes
and add the following formatting switch inside the closing } of the date
mergefield:

\@ "mmmm dd, yyyy"

Word groups, this was the only solution to work.
