Custom design template

Could I add my own base template to the list "Based On", which is shown when
user selects menu File/Design a Form template?
I'd like to create me own custom wizard which will ask some questions and
then create new form template.

Hello,

After some basic digging around, I couldn't find anywhere to adjust the
"Based On" list. A lot of those templates are actually wizards, so they
could be baked into the application rather than templates you can add to
and/or modify. Love to be proved wrong, would be nice to add/change this
list.

The only other option is to create standard infopath templates and use "My
Computer" to navigate to them. Nowhere near as nice though.

BTW I never did work out what was wrong with my view - I just felt the three
days of pain and moved on

With other form issues I have raised them directly with Microsoft and got
results, so if you get if fixed or get really stuck or just want to know
"what the...?" then you'll need to raise a support request for MS.
