Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to add a custom dictionary for medical and
scientific words on my MBpro but I'm lost at the moment.

I found where to add custom dictionaries but I don't have any medical
dictionaries on my computer to add.

1) What is the extension name for custom dictionaries on macs? I couldn't
figure that out. On windows they are .dic I believe.
2) Anywhere to get free custom dictionaries online?
If I got the proper extension, maybe I could do a google search for some.

Not all files on the Mac have an extension. They are not required for
dictionaries in Office. You can check the full name of a file by clicking
it, going to File > Get Info, and then looking under "Name & Extension".
The extension, if there is one, will appear there.

2) Anywhere to get free custom dictionaries online?
