Sorry to ask this question again but I posted it in
microsoft.public.word.spelling.grammar as Suzanne suggested and got no
response - in fact, that group appears to be used very little!
I have recently moved from Word 2000 to Word 2003 and there appears to be a
difference in the Spelling section.
I use several of my own custom dictionaries for different jobs but very
rarely the custom.dic which appears automatically. At present, I have a
list:
English (UK),
English (US),
All languages: (This has the custom.dic marked as default.)
If I check the dictionary I want to use and add words to it, it becomes a
Default; when I no longer wish to use it and uncheck it, I get a a warning
that changing the default could affect other Office programs.
Can that be avoided?
TIA
