Custom dictionary unchecking itself

Hi,

I added a custom dictionary of medical terms, I can look at it in Word 2003,
but the check mark will not stay on, so it does not use it in spell checking
- any ideas??

How did you create the custom dictionary? More specifically, what's the file
format and how did you enter the terms?

Might it contain invalidly formatted terms (more than one word on a line, for
example)?

Hi,

I copies the file from Word 2000 and I amso tried adding a new fresh one - I
have also check for the language issue and "All languages" is set.
