Custom duration gantt chart bars

Hello:

I have project server 2003.
I'm preparing custom gantt chart formats in PWA (using the
ones available on the admin. section).

Does anybody knows how to use the custom duration bars
(which fields do they link with)?

Is there anywhere a catalog of how each of the bars is
defined? What do they serve for...
