Custom Field for Resource Information

I want to know is there any way to add a custom field for resource
information, like,i want to add resource Employee Number while adding the
resource information.One way is by the help of look up.Is there any other
way.How I can do this.

In the PS 2007 SDK look at the example code in the "Resource.UpdateResources
Method " topic. It shows how to update the resource name. You would do the
same thing only for your resource custom field.
