Custom Field - Formula

Using OL 2002

I used Field Chooser to make a custom field of the type "Formula" in my
Contacts folder I have a table view in my contacts folder and I can display
this custom field and the calculation works perfectly. What I want to do,
however, is display this field in a custom Contacts form. When I insert the
custom field however, it gives me an #ERROR. I can insert any text or number
field in the form successfully, but no formula fields.

I have updated the message class of all my contacts in the folder that I'm
trying to change to the custom form.

Can anyone help with this?

What's the formula? Usually, seeing #ERROR indicates a problem with the formula not being able to resolve to a value.

I got it working. The formula was fine--as I mentioned, it calculated
perfectly. It seems that that data on the existing forms that I was trying
to change the message class on was not being picked up. After several
repeated changes to the message class, it finally took and all is fine.
