Custom field from My Tasks into Project Pro

I have no problems creating custom fields that go from Project Pro into PWA
views.

I have problems going the other way - creating custom fields that are for
users to edit on the "My Tasks" view which should then appear in the custom
field in Project Pro.

For example add field "Test". User edits "Test" with "Hello" on My Tasks.
Update gets submitted and approved. I open project plan and I expect to see
"Hello" in the enterprise customer field within Project Pro. I don't.
(Note I'm actually using a number field - is using a text field likely to be
any different?)

As usual, any help appeciated.
SP1 installation.

I believe you are seeing a bug that existed even after applying Service Pack
1 (SP1). If memory serves me correctly, I believe the Infrastructure Update
released in July fixes this bug. Hope this helps.
