Custom Field Headings in PWA

Using PWA 2002, I added custom fields in Project 2002 and changed the column
headings. How can I get these headings to display in PWA? all I am seeing is
Text 1, Text 2, etc.

Rename the custom field in Enterprise Global. Then publish a project.

Merely changing the column heading in Project will not do it, as you have
proven.

Is there any way to do this for fields that will not apply to all projects
in the enterprise?

If by "do this" you mean have the field name show up in PWA, the answer is
yes. Just follow my instructions, and the rename in PWA should occur. The
field does not have to be populated in every project unless you define it as
a required field.
