Custom Field Help

I'm trying to create a custom field that will calculate actual status. Here
is what I'm using.
[Baseline Finish]-([Actual Start]+[Actual Duration])
I'm trying to get a finish date differential between the baseline finish and
a projected finish.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind. I was trying to put this in a date field instead of a number
field.
