Custom field in BCM database

I would like to add and use a custom field in bcm - say 'Account Manager'.
I'd like to then be able to group a view using this field. I can create the
field and add it to a form, which is now used when creating a new account (or
editing existing). However - how do I get the edited record back into the
database - at the moment it just disappears after the edit.

Thank you for choosing Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2003

BCM does not support customization of the forms.
Hence even if the BCM forms (Business Contacts or Accounts or Opportunities)
were customized (new fields added or changed), they would not available for
use on the BCM data.
The customization is anyways on the wish-list for future versions of BCM.
