CUSTOM FIELD in Project 2007 + Project Professional

Hi everyboby.
I'm having some trouble with PWA and custom Field.
Inside PWA I create a Custom Field, named "customer", Text, Activity

My usaage should be to give an extra info to the resource, so that he knows
which is the final customer.
Other extra info will be order number and so on.

Then I updated the Global Template, with this new Field.

So when I open a new project with Project Professional, a Gantt with the new
field is showed.

I can insert the new tasks in the Project professional, and I supply also
the Customer's Name in this new field.

Then I save . I publsh, And I can see the tasks assigned.

But no value in the customer field is showed.

In my various trial i have then modified the Field from inside the PWA.
But when I reopen from Project prof. no update or modification Happens.

Giving a glance inside the Database, i can see in one table the value inside
the PWA and in another table the values typed from project professional.

Can somebody address me to the possible solution ?
