Custom field in timesheet view

I have added custom date field into the timesheet view and have a problem.

I would like for it to display the renamed field name instead of Enterprise
Field X

Is there any way to do this?

I have added the field to the Timesheet view and it displays with the correct
name. However, I cannot enter any data into it. I did go into the project
plan under Tools, Customize, Published Fields and selected this custom field
and made sure the option was chosen for "Let Resource Change Field".

What do I need to do to allow them to edit the data?

Read the entire FAQ. It tells you that you need to republish the
assignments using Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments. Hope this
